Rajendra Prasad back in 4 Avatars

Rajendra Prasad
After taking the film world by storm in his colourful Quickgun Murugun avatar, veteran actor Rajendra Prasad is all set to surprise once again.

But this time he is losing his comic side. The 210 film-old actor will be seen in a "medical thriller" titled "Dream", which is touted to be the first of its kind in Tollywood. Prasad plays a retired Army officer who is going through a peculiar phase in his life.

"The movie is a journey into the protagonist's mind," says debutant director Bhavani Shankar whose script impressed Rajendra Prasad so much that he agreed to do the movie almost instantaneously.

The actor is excited about his new avatar. "If all the 200-odd movies I did are on one side, this is on the other side, holding its own," says Rajendra Prasad, adding that he is thrilled about the way he has been styled in the movie.
The actor has four distinct looks in the film. "There were moments of hesitation, especially when it came to the African braid look and the rocker look. But Rajendra Prasad is a director's actor. He believes in giving you the freedom and letting you be. When he understood why each of his four looks was important to bring out different personalities of his character, he agreed to experiment," says Shankar, who first shot to fame when he won a national award in 2009 for "I vote for", a short film. "The only challenge was to keep him from slipping into his comic moods, since all his movies have been comedies," he quips. The director, who plans to take this film to international film festivals, including Cannes, roped in stylists who have worked on Big B to style Rajendra Prasad. And once the Telugu version is out, talks are on to make it in Bollywood too.

Siddharth should apologize says Dasari

Siddharth
Veteran filmmaker Dasari Narayana Rao seems to have made it his mission these days, to cut down to size young stars, who he thinks have become too big for their boots.

The latest on his hit list is actor Siddharth who earned the wrath of just about everyone for his abusive tweet that reads - "3rd grade 'N'ews channels will sell their families to make up an hour of TV. Clarifying their garbage & lies is not worth our time. Ignore!"

According to sources, Dasari decided to step into the ring and take on the actor, following a complaint from the Film Newscasters Association of Electronic Media (FNAEM). The Association alleged that despite lodging a complaint against Siddharth with the Movie Artiste Association (MAA) and Andhra Pradesh Producers Council, no action has been taken so far. Rubbing salt on their wounds was MAA president Murali Mohan who attempted to downplay it by saying that "Siddharth's comment is not against the Telugu media specifically".

Angered by the inaction, P Raghu, president FNAEM says, "We haven't received any reply from the Producers' Council so far, we've only been told that the letter has been forwarded to producer Dil Raju, who is making a film with Siddharth. We haven't even received a verbal assurance from the council and so we approached Dasari Narayana Rao. He assured us that justice will be done."

And Dasari has taken the issue very seriously, we learn. "He immediately called MAA president Murali Mohan and told him that Siddharth should apologize. When Murali Mohan tried to persuade Dasari that Siddharth's comment was not against the Telugu media, Dasari insisted that the actor should apologize as he is a popular actor in Telugu and currently he is doing mostly Telugu films," reveals our source.

It is also learnt that Dasari spoke firmly with Dil Raju. "Dasari told Raju clearly that if Siddharth does not tender an apology he would take the issue very seriously and make it a 'national issue' because if the comment was not intended for the local Telugu media it must have been for the national media!" adds the source
Industry watchers feel that Siddharth should react before his career in Tollywood is jeopardized. Meanwhile, the FNAEM is planning to approach the Human Rights Commission with regard to Siddharth's derogatory comments. The war is only getting hotter. Watch this space for more.

Her ancestors emigrated from Belarus and lived in the village of Ilya, in the Minsk area, and her great-grandmother was killed in the Holocaust. Kudrow was raised in a middle-class Jewish family and has an older sister, Helene Marla (born 1960), and an older brother, neurologist David B. Kudrow (born 1957). After attending Portola Middle School in Tarzana, California, she graduated from Taft High School in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles. She received her B.S. in Biology from Vassar College, intending to follow in her father's footsteps and research headaches. Kudrow worked on her father's staff for eight years while breaking into acting, earning a research credit on his study on the comparative likelihood of left-handed individuals developing cluster headaches. For a time, Kudrow also worked as an anchor/reporter at KVII-TV, the ABC affiliate in Amarillo, Texas.
At the urging of her brother's childhood friend, comedian Jon Lovitz,Kudrow began her comedic career as a member of The Groundlings, joining the ranks of those such as Will Ferrell and Janeane Garofalo. Her first recurring television role was Ursula Buffay, the eccentric waitress on the NBC sitcom Mad About You. Kudrow would reprise the character on the NBC sitcom Friends, in which Kudrow co-starred as massage therapist Phoebe Buffay, Ursula's twin sister. As Kudrow explained in 2009, "I did Mad About You first, and then it was pilot season, and I auditioned for this pilot that turned out to be Friends. And once I got that, the time slot we got was right after Mad About You, so the creative folk thought, 'Well, we can't just pretend like it's not her'".

Lindsay Lohan (pronounced born July 2, 1986)is an American actress, pop singer and model. She began her career as a child fashion model before making her motion picture debut in Disney's 1998 remake of The Parent Trap at the age of 11. Lohan gained further fame between 2003 and 2005 with leading roles in the films Freaky Friday, Mean Girls and Herbie: Fully Loaded, subsequently appearing in independent films including Robert Altman's A Prairie Home Companion and Emilio Estevez's Bobby.

Her career was interrupted in 2007 as two driving under the influence (DUI) incidents and three visits to rehabilitation facilities led to the loss of several movie deals.
