Mahesh Bhupathy and Lara Dutta has turned into Producer

The feature in Chalo Dilli as well, along with Lara Dutta.

The film has reportedly drawn an impressive line of actors from theatre. A comedy caper, the film is a journey of the two protagonists accentuating the different kinds of people in India and their eccentricities in a lighter vein.

According to reports, Vinay had to put on 12 kilos to look the part he’s playing in the film. Wonder how he plans to get rid of them!

The film will release on April 29.

Madhuri Dixit wants work with Hrithik Roshan

Dance diva Madhuri Dixit has worked with Aamir, Shah Rukh and Salman, but not with Hrithik Roshan.

The actress apparently regrets that she has not got a chance to work with Hrithik yet.

Madhuri describes him as poetry in motion and she keeps on reminding everyone about this fact every now and then. She even proclaimed it on her telly show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.

Actress Bipasha Basu is busy in promotion of DMD

Director Rohan Sippy’s upcoming movie Dum Maaro Dum was present with him for pre-release interviews, at Mehboob Studio in Bandra, a western suburb of Mumbai.

The film’s lead actress Bipasha Basu was, however, present for the promotional party.

Actor Abhishek Bachchan, who plays a policeman in the film walks in at the studio.

After the successful Bluffmaster, the actor has collaborated with friend Rohan Sippy for the second time.

Rana Dagubatti, who forays into Hindi cinema with 'Dum Maaro Dum', has been more in the news for his alleged affairs with Bipasha Basu and the constant speculation about the relationship he shares with actress Shreya Saran. However, we got in touch with the dashing actor, who told us that he appreciated the 'warm welcome' extended to him by one and all from the Hindi film fraternity.

About matters of the heart, he chooses to remain as candid as can be. Rana told, "They've made me a Casanova, here!" This was followed by a heart laugh. Now, of course, the guy wouldn't mind the 'Casanova' tag if it were true!

"It isn't true," he states, "I'm very much single. Bipasha and I are co-actors. We are not having a torrid affair. Shreya and I have been friends. We've never been in a relationship. And that's the truth and the whole truth. People who think I have this rocking life with the girls should come and meet me in Hyderabad, the city that I belong to. They'll find out how boring I am."

"I've no romantic inclination with either of the girls I'm being linked with. They are beautiful human beings, and good friends. But that's all. I am so neck deep in work, that I really have little time for anything else." Well, with his good looks, Dagubatti is going to have a number of girls flipping for him. And he just sighs and says, "If only..."

Actress Yuvika Chaudhary recommended by Govinda

After working with Govinda in Naughty@40, Yuvika Chaudhary who made her debut in Bollywood with Om Shanti Om has found a star admirer.

Recently, Govinda was approached for a project and the actor recommended Yuvika for his co-star.

Yuvika is elated with the news. Looks like Govinda has taken a leaf out of Salman Khan’s book who keeps recommending his heroines, especially newbies for his projects.

When Director Rajkumar Santoshi approached actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for the heroine’s role in ‘Ladies & Gentlemen’ the actress rejected the projects despite her spouse Abhishek Bachchan getting on-ship. Actually Abhi had declared that they did not come as a package as well as both want to do roles that befit them.

Lastly, Ash has decided to play the female protagonist in ‘Ladies & Gentlemen’. The beauty queen says that the script by Rajkumar Santoshi is exemplary and she did not need to give it amiss and regret later.

The celebrity couple was last seen with each other onscreen in ‘Raavan’ and they later on declined to share screen space when Vipul Shah came up with an offer.

NTR Shakti Censor Report

NTR's Shakti has been censored on 24rd of March and has been awarded 'A' certificate.

Censor cuts: 4 Minor
Total Run Time of the movie: 2 hr 40 mins

The first half of the movie is average. First half of the movie has Thaliya Thaliya, Surro Surro, Yamaga unde songs and a lot of action sequences.

Second half  is good and flashback episode which will be around 30 mins was well picturized. The sets especially in the 4th song prema desam yuvarani and Kali matha set will be feast for the eyes.

Going by the censor report, Shakti will be an above average movie and since lot of other movies are releasing in April, the movie range may also depend on them.

Taapsee dubs in her own voice for Mr.Perfect

Taapsee has two films, Jhummandhi Naadam and Vasthadu Naa Raju to her credit and her next Mr Perfect with Prabhas & Kajal is going to hit the screens later next month. Today, she revealed that she had already begun dubbing for the film and it's the first time that she has lent her own voice for a Telugu film. Dubbing for more than half of the film is already over.

However, it's upto the director & the producer to decide if they want to retain her voice or not when the film finally hits the screens. Recently, Tamannaah had created quite a lot of buzz for dubbing her own voice for 100% Love.

Mr.Perfect has Prabhas, Kajal and Taapsee in lead roles. Dasarath has directed the film and Dil Raju has produced it on Sri Venkateshwara Cine Creations banner. Devi Sri Prasad has composed the tunes. The film is expected to open in screens on April 21.

Kamal Hasan's Next film Vishwaroopam

Tollywood and Kollywood grapevine is that Kamal Haasan's latest film, being directed by Selvaraghavan, has been named Vishwaroopam.

Sources close to director Selvaraghavan say that the title is apt for the psychological thriller that he is making. However, there is a small hitch. A film with a similar title was released in the 80s. It had Sivaji Ganesan, Sujatha and Sri Devi in the lead and was directed by AC Trilogachandar. Hectic negotiations are going on with the producers of the earlier film, and if all goes well, Kamal's film will have the title Vishwaroopam.

Meanwhile, pre-production work on the film, in which Sonakshi Sinha plays the heroine, is getting completed. The shoot is expected to start in April.
