TOI understands that actress Ileana will join the team soon and romance the Superstar. While Deepika remains the lead actress in the film, Ileana, we understand, will pair with one of the other Rajinis. The Superstar plays a triple role in this K R Ravikumar-directed film.
A source close to the development says, "Ileana has just been roped in. She'll play a vital role in the film." As reported earlier, Rekha is out of the project and is most likely to be replaced by actress Hema Malini.
Meanwhile, a team comprising Superstar Rajinikanth and K S Ravikumar is expected to visit the UK in April to finalize the actor's look for the film. "The look is expected to be special as Rajini does three roles in the film and they're bound to be different," adds the source. The script of Raana, we understand, is drastically changing every day as the filmmaker is working hard to ensure that it has all the essential ingredients that work at the BO. "We're planning to freeze in on the locations too only after the script is complete," adds the source. Shooting for the film is expected to start on April 18.
